A man was walking towards the forest outside of Karakura Town. He was wearing a white shirt and a Glengarry on his head as he walked. over his shoulder was a set of bagpipes and he was also wearing that had people looking at him funny, a kilt; specifically, this kilt. And yes, he was wearing the Sparron, the kilt belt, kilt hoses, flashes and brogans. Now rather he was wearing it traditionally was another story, and if you know the song, on what a Scotsman wears under his kilt ... the world may never know. James was smiling the entire time, nodding to people, as was common for him to do.

James knew that he looked funny, as he was a foreigner in a foreign land, being Scottish, and living in Japan. Luckily he could speak the Japanese language and a few others. But what really brought him here, was not all of the spirit energy, but a job as a teacher at Karakura High School. Moreover, James is a Quincy, those that are the rivals of Shinigam. where Shinigami save and transport spirits to the afterlife, Quincy kill the evil spirits. Although, as far as James was concerned, if the evil spirits, or Hollows were stopped, than that made those spirits that were attacked by them to be safe. So it was justifiable.

James also was lucky, in that he have kept his abilities hidden, having only needing them once, when he first arrived. He is not weak, but he is not one to fight, just because he is a Quincy. Unlike other Quincy's, he does help, but it is usually in other ways. Like today, he was heading to a spot he found, just outside of town. this spot allowed him to practice his pipes and he knew others would stop and watch him, which did not bother him. He could either do this or archery, and he is extremely talented with a bow. Plus, he always met interesting people, perhaps today would be one of those days.

The caressing flame of the mans cigarette would be the last thing this waste of a hollow would see .... how pathetic. Wolf stood the blood pouring around him, his right hand was gripped around the throat of an aduchas class hollow, nothing more than a rat to wolf. But as the beasts eyes closed, its neck now snapped wolf could help but let out a small huff his left hand taking the smoke from his mouth and throwing it to the ground. What a waste of time it had been to take this dumb ass down, the thing refused to yield so when wolf punched its brain in with his left hand while holding it in place with his other ... it was only natural he'd get bored. The man dropped the beast letting the lifeless body flop to the floor as the true monster would walk away.

This had truly been the way of things for the last few months, after his demotion from captain by the new head captain in the gotei hed decided to take a little soul searching quest.... unfortunately everywhere he turned a new threat was popping up always trying to fight him, was everyone really in that much of a hurry to die? IT was all just getting to be so bothersome for the man who ripped apart things just for the pure fun of it, and when you take away a mans love for blowing shit up .... what does he have?

And now as he walked through this forest that for a while he had been calling a small little home it was obvious that the mad hound needed something to do. But something else was in his mind right now, not the soul society, not his ex captaincy, not even these damn hollows, no this was something much different, a smell he could never forget the reek of death that they bore passing onto him .... quincy. So it was a fair call that when he saw some crazy ass guy in a skirt smelling of the only thing he truly hated the only logical thing to do was make a new "friend."

Without a second thought wolf clenched his fist and let his all to unquenchable black energy encompassing it, the "dark matter". His eyes driven with madness wolf let his punch rip through the trees around him, leveling a good 50 m radius the trees themselves being ripped apart against this opposing force. Wolf needless to say was little mad ... and now "playing" with john was on his list of things to do for the day.
