There are 2 main "forms" for the Shinigami and Vizards. They have Initial Release, or Shikai, and Second Release, or Bankai. The powers of both tend to be related to their personality, or life experiences. Shikai is the equivent of filling a cup to the brim, and pouring half out, as it isnt the Zanpakuto's true power. Meanwhile, a Bankai would be like flipping the glass over completely, letting everything out at once.

Shikai: Requires 2-3 tier, and can be completely mastered by 2-1, though new abilities may still be discovered.

Bankai: Can be discovered no sooner than 1-3 tier, and mastered by 1-1 tier, though new abilities can be obtained later on. A Bankais Ultimate Technique tends to require at least 1-2+, though leniancy may take place.


Arrancar have their Ressureccion form, and may obtain a Segunda Etapa at some point. Ressureccion alone is very powerful, and Segunda may not even be needed. (Vizards cannot obtain a Segunda Etapa form)

Ressureccion: Tends to be slightly weaker, or on par with Bankai. It requires 2-1 tier at least to obtain.

Segunda Etapa: Considered to be even stronger than Bankai, it requires the tier of 1-1 to obtain, as it is incredibly difficult to discover.

Chapina have thier own requirements for these forms, but they also have thier own forms:

Epikkusumōru: This utilizes a small percent of the Core Power's potential, about 20%. When used, the Core Power infuses itself into the body of the Chapina, and the Chapina's zanpakto turns into a body feature like wings or an arm cannon that focuses on the main effect of the Core Power. This learned at D-4.

Soul Form: This is most Chapina's greatest form. It utilizes 75% of the power of the Core Power. It takes on the true form of the Chapina and infuses it with the Core Power. When activated, a tail of light appears on the back of the Chapina's hollow hole. This is there Sub Power. It controls another element about 25% as well as the Core power would have. It is used in conjunction with the Core Power to create the Soul Form. It is much stronger than bankai. Requires B-1 and training for it.

Ultimate Soul, Chapina: This is the ultimate form for Chapina's. It combines elements of hollows, shinigami, and arrancars as well as the Core Power and Sub Power abilities. A Chapina with this mode would be the strongest of the Chapina's. It has two extreme elements to it, either Extremespeed, Giant's strength, Masterweaponsman, SteelSkin, or DeepPower. Each Chapina's life determines which attributes they focused on since they awoke. They are also able to use the Chapina finisher. Requires you to be A-3+ and do a training thread against one who has Ultimate Soul Form.
