Homunculus:

Age:30,000 years total (Beginning of race)

Definition/Description: A homunculus is a artificial being of sorts, not exactly intended they are the spares something that was created from a fluke accident, actually as they are nothing like what we thought of as “Artificial Beings” They where something entirely different, taking on characteristics that other beings could only dream of, the term out of a flask is inaccurate in the case of Homunculus they instead came from the explosion of matter that had been accumulating in an alternate dimension that had formed in the dangai , so far back in the gateway realm that no one really could find or even trace the smallest hint of their existance.

Among Other Things Homunculus have a humanoid state for the most part, resembling the anatomy at-least appearance wise, nearly with perfect precision accuracy, with the height weight, and general structure of a human which is why they have been called on numerous occasions “Artificial Humans” When in fact they are absolutely nothing of the sort, Homunculus Are Unique in the sense that well for the most part on the fact that physically they are Much stronger than the average human, they are widely known for overwhelming physical capabilities, and extremely high intellect, however that too is a stereotype, As they are on levels of varying intelligence, some of them have average IQ levels and some are Outrageously Smart.  

The Fact also that they are Artificial beings, atleast to most of civilization, they have a higher density structure and durability to the organs, notably seen when for the most part, you would fight such a creature as they usually have in general terms,  an Extremely High Body to density ratio, meaning the body mass may be low but the density will be extremely high.  Not to mention while most beings may have a normal number of chromosomes  Homunculus have been recorded to have roughly 112 Chromosomes and roughly half of those are linked to the intricate natural abilities that they hold.  So they are by no means a race which has been left out of the running.


Appearance Characteristics: Generally speaking you might want to know about how a Homunculus looks, well for starters look in the mirror, they look drastically similar to the average human, even though they are inhuman to the point that it is disconcerting. So while the homunculus is going to be much stronger, faster, and superior, they also at the same time can blend in perfectly with normal humans, Aided by the fact that appearance wise, they generally are going to grow in the early years of their life, they are quite tricky to spot in modern day Society.

Although this is true, given the fact that they are complex and intricate beings, there are some easy to spot characteristic’s such as a flawless complexion, and a rather slim frame. Also look for scarring as no homunculus will scar up, it’s just part of the genetic make-up of their restorative faculties, meaning they heal not only quicker, but they have the ability to completely restore injury, and remove the visible signs of the injuries themselves.  Which is of course why they keep so Freakishly Perfect.

Beyond the complexion is going to be the skin tones, while humans generally have blood-vassals showing when they are under strain or injured a homunculus has what we would consider to be a perfect skin tone, the kind that you might see on a photo-shopped image, where it is devoid of imperfections and blemishes, that is one of the Major ways to tell how in the world  they are not of this world, and while its subtle if you know what you’re looking for it should be fairly simple to spot the actual characteristics themselves.

Eyes Finally are the last way, while a human will have normal colors a homunculus can have eyes that vary largely in color, to the point one eye could be a completely different color then the other, of course some homunculus have fairly Uniform Eye Colors, such as browns or green’s  so ,  this method is not always the best possible way of identifying them in the long-run as the fact is that well, chances are it just might now work.  

Marking, Every Homunculus has a type of marking on them, be it a dot or a line, it can be as simplistic as what was stated before, and can be as complex as a full body tattoo, however a homunculus will have this marking somewhere on the body, be it in plain sight or out of sight, it will be there. As for some reason this marking is something that is present since birth and is impossible to get rid of, no matter what you do , even to the point that if you rip the mark off physically, it will grow back, so this is another way of Actually Identifying a Homunculus .

Natural Skills:

Regeneration: Every Homunculus has some form of regeneration, it is the skill to recover from injury in this regard a homunculus no matter what is going to have this type of  natural genetic given trait. This covers a wide range, such as re-growing arms, or to simple tasks as healing a small cut, however regeneration can also be a large and intricate task such as regenerating the nervous system or healing wounds to minor organs,  the only thing they cannot heal though is the brain,  and in some regards they can patch up the heart though they take time to do such healing.  So Homunculus Have the ability to regenerate Certain Given Wounds Over Time, and do so with a quicker  given rate of healing then humans can have .

Novice , At this though cannot heal very much and although they do have a higher regenerative rate then a human would, it might take them a long time to heal limbs and other things on that regard. Because of this novices not only will have near-human levels of healing but, they are also unable to fully regenerate serious wounds in example if a Novice got cut in  the ribs, they would probably not be able to fully regenerate The damage that was given to them, as such in this case The Novice would have probably still a slight wound instead of something major So thanks to that novices while they have abilities in healing far above a human, are going to need some time to get used to this regeneration.

Journeymen are slightly different then a novice would be, If nothing else because the regeneration rate has improved, because in comparison to the novice our journeymen Homunculus would also be slow in a rate of regeneration however, they would be able to regenerate wounds such as a cut off limb within a fairly reasonable period of time, such as over the course of a fight our Journeymen Homunculus could probably regenerate his arms and legs back 1 time  at max, so while of course they are able to regenerate they are pretty slow. However the upside is they are certainly capable of regenerating physical wounds such as say if they ruptured their intestines, our Homunculus would certainly be capable of Regenerating the wound though it would take a decent amount of time, As well though our homunculus could also do something called, Bacterial Decontamination, to get rid of the Actual infections or bacteria that could be causing damage and harm to the newly regenerated area, though this is used mainly to keep grievous wounds clean.

Bacterial Decontamination: The Process in which a Homunculus is able to by isolating contaminated organic matter inside the body and eradicating it through causing the Contamination to be absorbed along with the contaminated tissues into a special organic membrane, which governs material control, by doing this the fused organic contaminated matter is then subjected to extensive Apoptosis inside the membrane, which eradicates the organically fused bacteria-Cell combinations, and this in turn naturally is going to stop the infection, the only problem is that this process will take 3 turns at least to fully take effect.

Expert Regeneration, is something that is formidable when it comes to the homunculus, not only have they now reached the level that regeneration gets serious but, they also have become able to regenerate limbs and even organs multiple times a thread, but because of the fact that regeneration itself hasn’t reached the peak of its power, the homunculus still is not at the pinnacle of this ability. So as a general example, our homunculus say he got crushed under a pile of rocks into pulpous crushed bones and organs? Well if his head was still intact, he would be able to regenerate the rest of his body up to 3 times in a given thread, this means the entire body not just a single part of it. However doing so would cause them to take truly Massive hits to stamina and the amount of power they possess. As the reason they can only do it three times is because to do it for such a complex being, generally will completely and utterly tire them out.

Accelerated Burst:  Accelerated burst is a state that is given in expert, it allows for the time frame of around 3 turns for regeneration to become extremely enhanced, though after that period of time what generally happens is a massive strain on the body which is why this cannot be spammed, it is going to have a limit of once every 6 posts can it be activated, and even then that would be putting a intense strain on the body. As for an example of what it allows well, simply put in this state a Homunculus could regenerate an Arm In a Blink of an eye, or likewise, regenerate limbs or even organs in that insane speed.

Regenerative Stun: Another thing they gain, and can use offensively, a “Stun” works by overwhelming the opponents body on contact by accelerating the cells recreation process, similar to cancer, it overstimulates and basically causes for the nervous system for a short period of time, to slow down due to over response, basically this has a negative effect on response time, by 1/10 it for a turn when used, however this also works to basically slow down regeneration in other regeneration users, reducing it by 20% , for a turn,  so this technique is one that uses the principles of regeneration offensively to cause some internal damage. It’s not that powerful but it still is certainly useful.

Regenerative Focus:  In Expert Classes , the Homunculus have something known as “Regenerative Focus” what it does is simple, at this point they have such extensive knowledge of the body that they can basically, shut off regeneration to certain parts, and then focus the excess energy on the rest of the body or a certain part that has been greatly damaged, similar to the wound looking like it just has “Vanished” it will for the moment used, cause the user to strain for focus, basically this technique causes fatigue if used too many times, 5 or 6 times a thread is about the max they could focus the regenerative properties to allow for the technique to be fully, well “Practical” As if used any more it will begin to wear down on stamina and it causes regeneration to in most cases just full on shut down.


Master Regeneration, is different than the lower levels, it allows our homunculus to actually achieve feats such as, actually healing the body up to the point wounds just seem to be allergic to them, that is wounds will vanish in puffs of steam, seal up, and then reform, vital shots are really the one thing at this level that will slow them down or stop them, or the other option would be to cut off limbs, that still takes around half a turn to fully regenerate and in that it means that the limbs will literally look like they are exploding back into place, bone structure, muscles, nerves, blood vassals , all of them visibly will form in high speed, to the point that the wounds will turn from serious to non-existent , as such you have to be highly specialized in this field to even dream of reaching “Master” in essence these people have perfected their regeneration, and are seriously threats on the battle field,  and are very rare, these are legends in regeneration you could say, as they fairly accurately can be considered as such.


Internal Regeneration Destroya:  As at master regeneration our homunculus is able to accelerate regeneration on every point of the body, they also have reached a level that they can exert it on external atoms they come into contact (Or the air in a given radius of 200meters-a half mile) to generate damage by over accelerating molecules to the point that the process of regenerating explodes into a deadly concoction, basically using this technique externally allows for explosions, as the over acceleration of regeneration causes the cells and matter that they come into contact with if they used this , to either, explode or spontaneously combust (If npc) however this can be used to bypass armor, as they know enough about how the internal side of the body works, to be able to accelerate the cells on the other side of the armor, to transfer the equivalent amount of damage they would have used if they had punched it themselves, meaning this allows them to cause internal damage, without external signs of damage. This though uses Energy, and is a draining skill they can use at this level, it can be used up to 4 times a post, though if spammed like that for 4 posts straight, it will cause fatigue, and fainting.

Regenerative Shield: A shield of sorts, they basically focus all of the regeneration they possess on the skin,  this causes their skin in essence to regenerate at a speed that say if our homunculus was cut by a blade? Well this would make the blade stop on the exterior of the skin, because the skin is regenerating too fast for the blade to slide past, in essence this can be also used to catch enemy attacks, though it is highly draining, such that the technique cannot be used for more then 2 turns before a 5 turn cool-down.
Genetic Energy Skill:

While most Races generally have external energy reserves, from outside sources,  Homunculus have internal genetic means of generating energy, which is why they have so many different levels. This energy is unlike spiritual energy, and as such it cannot be sensed like spiritual energy would, instead it forms by generating immense levels of force, and is done by  manipulating the energy given in the exterior level of the air  such as the energy in atoms, and so forth, this is able to be utilized internally using their complex bodies, which actually has a secondary nervous system in it, although this one, goes through creating energy, through a mixture of complex reactions, and conversions,   in essence, they can be just as strong as a shinigami but you can’t really Judge them like you would a shinigami, if nothing but for the fact the energy they use is completely different.  As such, even high leveled Homunculus can have low energy output, and be doing stuff that is nearly for the most part completely Physical or by other means.

As a Novice, one would have a general hard time using energy , our homunculus would not be able to use many energy attacks, and because of that they would be generally unable to do something like creating a ball of energy, although this would be because while they have an energy conversion system, it wouldn’t be that advanced, and as such it would be unable to really generate a large level of energy at a time, so thanks to this our homunculus would be fairly limited to the options that he would be able to do, or be able to pull off, as in this regards he could in essence generate feats such as  creating a spark, or maybe enough force to make a tiny car-bomb explosion although it would take a lot of time, and concentration to do it, so they would have very low energy output, and mostly would be unable to use energy based skills.

As  A Journeymen, they are able to do feats like sustained energy creation, focusing on composition, they could be able to let out arcs of lightning, which would strike across the ground, or transfer energy into the ground causing a small crater to form, or by using this energy to distribute water , could walk on water, as such journey men, while they are unable to blow up massive buildings, are able to do a lot more than novice’s would be able to . Actually they are able to do A massive deal more then Novice’s would, so take our homunculus , he at this level would possibly be able to generate enough energy at a time to blow up a small building, in one movement, and because of it they could then possibly use the energy to transfer energy into the molecules in the air, to cause a random explosion of flame when something that is negatively reacting to the air, comes into contact with the air, just stuff like that, though again, they are able to do much more than a novice but that’s not saying much .

Energy Transfer: As a journeymen, our homunculus would be able to do something along the lines of putting energy into inanimate objects that they come in contact with, by doing so they could cause a rock to explode, or a car to inexplicably start without gasoline. In this way they are enabled to transfer and use their energy in different ways, not all of them though are what you would call easy, or fair. In example they could use energy transfer to allow them to  walk upside-down on a steel beam, or even to harden a wall so it could take more force. This though while useful, doesn’t have a lot of power behind it, and because of that it is for the most part, just a slight trick of the hand. It can cause fatigue if spammed for 5 turns however. (Spamming means 3+ times per post for 5 turns.)

Expert Genetic Energy Skill users, are without a doubt dangerous persons who are able to cause a pretty good amount of damage in a wide radius,  by being able to utilize the internal energy and manipulated energy in the radius, to generate attacks that could take out city blocks, or in some cases some attacks generated at this level could span actual Distances such as a half mile, or a mile. So thanks to this, they’re going to be able to cause a good deal of damage, treat Expert skill users with caution, they are going to have a good handle on the powers they possess and are going to be able to nearly have perfect- Control over energy transfer and manipulation,  these people will also be able to generate enough power that they make a Journeymen in this skill field look like a little child as Expert Is what you would expect from most energy centered  homunculus, as the normal energy centered homunculus is going to be on this level.

Extensive Field Of Analyzing:  Genetic Energy Skill users, are able to freely use this energy manipulation like a bat uses echo location, by sending out a manipulative field, (Up to a mile) they can be able to sense the general location of opponents, based on differences in consistency , such as normal objects take up space, meaning they can also use this to get a gist of the environment, as if when in a city for example? They could quite possibly use this for the sake of doing something like making a map of the town, or even tracking someone in their general vicinity, the actual applications themselves are pretty Diverse, and able to keep up with Other sensory fields themselves, although the problem is they cannot measure spiritual pressure in this means, like how a 2 dimensional being cannot sense one of the 3rd dimension, they are so completely polar opposite that while spiritual beings cannot sense their energy signature, they cannot gauge the spiritual beings energy levels either.

De-Assimilation: A interesting technique , Expert users, are able to use the process they get energy, and transfer energy in reverse, they can as long as they make hand contact, drain and convert energy that is either A. physical or B. Not spiritual energy, although there are limits of this, the energy received, will be half of the energy absorbed for starters, plus this cannot be done all the time, since they have to be in physical contact with the source of energy during the period of time they are robbing it of energy, however this has another purpose, besides combat application, it is also used to break down something on the molecular level, such as  if our Homunculus touched a building, they would have the know-how, and grasp over their Racial power to rob the building of its electrons and protons,  convert those into energy, and basically cause the building to vaporize as it would be robbed of the energy in its structure’s atomic core, as such though they can do this 3 times every 6 turns when its combat related, however on  inanimate object’s they can use this to just remove a obstruction, though only the times mentioned above 3 times in 6 turns will actually replenish their energy. The rest of the time, it will just be used to get rid of the objects that are annoying them.

Rapid State: In short bursts our Expert genetic skill user, is able to for a temporary (2 turn) amount of time, double the energy creation state, inside them so for those two turns our homunculus would be able to double energy output, although the problem would be following those two turns, they would be feeling over exertion, somewhat like a berserker mode, they would go into fatigue after it.

Masters Of Genetic Energy Skill , are beings who are at the pinnacle of this particular Skill, because of the fact they are so rare, they are generally very specialized people , who are able to actually use their skills and powers to levels far above the Expert level, such as our master Genetic Energy Skill homunculus would be able to easily manipulate enough energy to blow up a good chunk of a city. Given the fact that at this level they are considered to be at a state of “Perfection” in the skill, as close as possible at least, which is why they not only are dangerous but they are able to fully control their genetic energy and use it to the fullest possible effect, basically ? They are able to in essence bring out the best in this field.


Phantom Waltz: Homunculus have a rather interesting way of moving at high speeds, it’s called phantom Waltz, and basically works by manipulating the generically generated energy and taking in account outside variables, but the effect is that unlike flash step or sonido, well it won’t make sound, nor will it make any disruption, in essence like a phantom they can completely vanish though when in fact they are just moving at very high speeds,  while at the same time generally mixing it up with fluid rhythmic steps which cause when in low light for the user to zip in and out of visible sight, of course because of the fact that phantom waltz is a means of high speed transportation for them , it is going to be a combination of physical and genetic Results .

Novice users of phantom waltz, are unable to use it more than 2 times a post for starter, but it also isn’t that fast it is comparably slower than the speeds that are why it has the namesake of “Phantom” as such they don’t “Vanish” they look like they are mirror imaging, and can be track-able at this speed level, and these people well at least as a novice our homunculus is not really able to move at speeds that would be considered on par with a flash step, or a sonido, or any other form of transportation  at least though they are going to be moving at decently high speeds.

Journeymen users of phantom waltz however are able to move at higher speeds then novice’s they are able to get the illusion of vanishing, though it is more abrupt startling because of the fact they have not yet reached the level of speed needed to actually get the “Phantom “ Effect, in fact while a Journymen level user will be able to use this multiple times a post with little consequence, the fact is that these are your “apprentice” users in skill wise, they haven’t gotten a full handle on how the technique works, and generally as such they need to take the time and the general effort to learn how to use it better. However because they are on this level, a Journeymen level in this skill is able to make a novice user look like they are standing still, just because of the difference in levels of speed, and knowledge on the race ability in general.

Phantom Phase: This is what journeymen gain access too, this is a skill which generally can be compared as to a second sudden step, this movement will  rival an expert users Phantom Waltz for a second, though it cannot be used often, maybe once a post, and because of this, if used more then 4 times in 4 posts, it will cause some serious fatigue,  as literally the phantom phase allows the user to move at sudden speeds a rank above them, and it happens out of the phantom waltz, so in example our Homunculus used phantom waltz and came out of it, and was about to be nailed in the face? They could use this to suddenly vanish and get out of dodge so to speak, although the thing is that they would have to generally speaking  use this wisely as explained above, it will tire the homunculus out.

Expert Phantom Waltz, is when users are able to generally look like “A phantom” as when this is in use, a after image will lag behind and slowly vanish into the shadows while they are in motion, looking like a phantom dropping from the light, because of this they are much faster then A Journeymen would be , in fact there is a rather large difference between the two, meaning that generally speaking there is going to be a greater well, speed on the expert Phantom Waltz side then the Journeymen User, as such  our expert user, could use this multiple times linked to each other without much of a problem, and is around twice as fast as our Journeyman user, so for all purposes you could say that our Expert user is going to be generally a movement based homunculus ,because they will be able to move fairly accurately, and quickly using this skill, its actually nearly second nature for them by the point that they are at this stage.


Phantom Army: A skill Homunculus can use at the expert level, this racial quirk allows them to by using the racial skill “Phantom Waltz” In rapid succession for the illusion of hundreds of phantom images to form, depending on how long it is used though, it is physically and at the same time , all around pretty taxing, and these movements can be used maybe twice in 3 turns, before severe pain and fatigue would set in for around 3 turns after that, so yes while this is a rather useful thing that a “Homunculus” is able to do there are some pretty big drawbacks and generally speaking downsides to the movement itself, even though when you look at is, the pro’s are clearly visible, as a user in Phantom Army, is going to be able to move at speeds that are twice as fast as normal, with half the time between the phantom waltz movements. So you could call this a accelerated mode,  which is temporarily boosting and at the same time confusing the opponent or generally when you think about it, anyone that is trying to make any actual sense of the situation,  but yes Expert Homunculus are able to use pretty nasty techniques.

Phantom Merge:  Another skill which can be used around 2 times every 6 turns, it is what you would call merging an attack into the phantom illusion, or going into phantom waltz while in motion. In essence this means they would feel the attack but they would also get the phantom, this skill requires a fair bit of energy, as such it both takes energy and time to actually use it correctly also if used more then 4 times in a thread it generally causes, what you could call, extreme fatigue, and end up causing a normal homunculus to actually Pass out from such a level of strain, that’s just the simple gist of the technique.
